Freshman Year Timeline.

August

Attend parent and student orientations.

September

Check your schedule to make sure that all of your academic and elective classes are scheduled.

If you have a problem with your schedule, see your guidance counselor immediately. Be sure to come during a study hall, during lunch, or before or after school.

Tutoring begins for students who have been identified to participate in this program.

Become involved in at lest two extra-curricular activities this school year.

October

Practice OGT is given.

November-December

Continue to improve your academic performance. Semester grades will become a part of your permanent record. See your guidance counselor if you need some help with study skills.

January

Final exams held.

New semester begins.

OGT seminars begin during religion study halls.

February

Guidance counselors will distribute schedule information in freshman English classes.

Meet with guidance counselor to schedule classes for sophomore year.

March

Service Project due by the end of the third quarter.

April-May

Continue to focus on classes and activities.

June

Have a safe and enjoyable summer! Don't forget your summer reading project!
