Sign up for College Planning Workshop.
See your Guidance Counselor to register for the PSAT/NMSQT test to be administered in October.
Have parents attend the College Information Night - Junior Edition.
October
Attend area college fairs. See Guidance Resource Center or Guidance Bulletin Board for times and locations.
Meet with college reps at Lutheran West.
Take PSAT/NMSQT test.
OGTs will be administered to any junior who has not yet passed the required tests.
November
Use OCIS to begin college search.
December
Come to PSAT/NMSQT test interpretation session.
January
Attend the Financial Aid Workshop for Parents.
February
Meet with Guidance Counselor to schedule classes for senior year.
Register for Spring ACT and SAT tests. Registration packets are available
in the Guidance Resource Center.
March
Begin making college visits to the schools that are of interest to you.
April
Take the ACT and/or SAT if you have already completed Algebra II/Trig.
Narrow down list of possible colleges to 7-10 schools.
Submit NCAA Eligibility form if considering college athletics.
May
Attend a Spring college fair. See Guidance bulletin board for dates and times.
June
Take the June ACT and/or SAT.
Prepare a list of schools that you plan to visit during the summer.
