Summer School. A maximum of three enrichment credits toward graduation may be earned in summer and/or extension school.  Credits earned before enrolling into the ninth grade at Lutheran West will count toward fulfilling subject area requirements, but will not diminish the number of credits required to graduate form Lutheran West and will not be calculated into the GPA.  

Students who fail a semester of a class may repeat the failed semester to earn the credit for that class.  If a student fails a course a t Lutheran West the failing grade is posted on the student’s transcript.  Students making up their failure in summer school (or other location) will have their “make-up” grade also posted on the transcript.  Both grades are figured into the student’s GPA. All English failures must be made up prior to enrollment in the next level of English.  The student should meet with their Guidance Counselor to be sure they are enrolling for the correct course.
