ROCKY RIVER -- The Lady Longhorns had a season of accomplishment and growth in 2010.  They had three first place victories, as well as three second place finishes and one third place finish.
   
The Longhorns will be bidding farewell to senior Sarah Gettinger, who was an asset to the team this year. She consistently contributed, and was the only team member to advance to regionals. She was also named Longhorn Athlete of the Year. 
   
Coach Joe King was pleased with his team's accomplishments. In regards to the district competition, he remarked, “We were proud of the girls and what they accomplished this year. We have strengths to build on.” Many of these ladies achieved personal records throughout the season.
