ROCKY RIVER -- The 2010 season was a time of accomplishment and growth for the Longhorns. They had one first place victory during the season which was at their first meet.  Along with this the team had five second place finishes, and one third place finish.
   
Many of the Longhorns had personal records throughout the season. Two of the standout members were juniors Kyle Bailey and Brad Watson. Bailey contributed a lot during the season. Watson was one of two Longhorns that advanced to regionals, was the only Longhorn to advance to the state meet, and was also named Longhorn Athlete of the Year. Bailey and Watson will both be returning as seniors next year to compete and accomplish even more.

With the growth through the numerous personal records along with team growth, Coach Joe King seems enthused about next season. He commented, “We should have a good nucleus of boys returning, and hopefully we will advance more next year.”
